Craig Kurtz, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 30 years of experience providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families throughout Florida. Since beginning his work in mental health and addiction counseling in 1994, Craig has supported clients facing challenges related to relationships, addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
Craig earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he focused on communication, writing, and psychology, and later received his Master of Health Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. He has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1999.
His therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, combining evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) with psychodynamic, somatic, Adlerian, Gestalt, Ericksonian, and hypnotherapy techniques. Treatment is tailored to each client’s goals, with an emphasis on improving self-awareness, strengthening relationships, and supporting lasting emotional and behavioral change.
Craig provides counseling in person and through telehealth, offering a professional and supportive environment where clients can work toward greater balance, clarity, and personal growth.
